The biggest challenge during the design was that the camper should in no way resemble a truck or bus in its final appearance. The goal was to create an elegant, truly car-like vehicle, while leaving enough space indoors to create a generous, livable living space.

The exterior design of the residential truck was designed in line with the Dembell team's creed, brand strategy and thoughtful technical innovations. We designed a sophisticated, timeless look that reflects Dembell's vision of creating the world's first luxury inland yacht — completely unknown in the world of motorhomes

The product design won the renowned Red Dot design award in 2022 and 2023.

The motorhome of the future

Dembell develops high-end motorhomes that draw inspiration from the world of luxury yachts, combining groundbreaking design and engineering innovations. Unlike competitors, nearly every available extra feature comes as standard equipment in their models.

The motorhome measures 12 meters in length, 4 meters in height, and 2.5 meters in width. Inside, comfort is ensured by a lounge with an open-plan American kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The interior space can be further expanded sideways using so-called slide-outs (extendable sections).

Dembell branding project

The distinctive “Dembell Red” stripe running along the side of the vehicle was designed as a key visual and brand element—a signature feature that consistently appears across various touchpoints. We applied it, for instance, to the custom-painted Vespa scooter and Smart car that accompany the vehicles.

Design without compromise.

In developing its motorhomes, Dembell follows a completely new design philosophy within the industry. Design—including brand building—is treated on an equal footing with engineering, approached in a holistic manner. As a result, we were able to create a sophisticated, high-quality appearance down to the finest details with minimal compromises.
