Development of the design language of a luxury residential truck

Challenge

In 2025, the team from Neumann University will join one of the world’s most demanding engineering challenges: the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, a 3,000 km journey across Australia from Darwin to Adelaide in a solar-powered vehicle. But this is more than just a race — it’s a two-year innovation, education, and technology program, where Hungarian engineering excellence proudly takes its place on the international stage.

solution

The exterior design of the residential truck was designed in line with the Dembell team's creed, brand strategy and thoughtful technical innovations. We designed a sophisticated, timeless look that reflects Dembell's vision of creating the world's first luxury inland yacht — completely unknown in the world of motorhomes

The product design won the renowned Red Dot design award in 2022 and 2023.

Design

For the solar race car of John von Neumann University, our goal was to create a livery that represents the university’s identity while making the team stand out in the international field. In addition to the university logo, we highlighted the brand’s signature orange color with a special dual-tone finish. Moving away from the traditional white base used by many teams, the combination of silver and exposed carbon gives the car a modern, high-tech character. The dynamic orange striping further enhances its unique, powerful look, visually expressing the innovative spirit of John von Neumann University.

The vehicle in racing conditions

As part of the project, we also supported the team's event appearance: we created poster and roll-up designs that strengthen the visual presence and ensure uniform communication during the competition.
